Pious Hearts LLC ("Pious Hearts," "we," "us," or "our") understands that matchmaking involves deeply personal information. Our services are designed around privacy, discretion, and intentional introductions. Pious Hearts is not a dating app, public directory, or searchable catalog. Member profiles are not available for general browsing by members, nonmembers, or search engines.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal information when you visit pioushearts.com, create an account, apply for or purchase a service, communicate with us, attend an event, purchase a gift, apply to work with us, or otherwise use Pious Hearts. Our services include the Foundation, Guided, and Signature matchmaking memberships; curated introductions; consultations; Intentional Life Guidance with Nawal Ali; relationship and life coaching; image consulting; events; gifts; and related offerings (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

Some profile information, including religious beliefs, ethnicity, marital history, health or accessibility information, and spouse preferences, may be considered sensitive. We collect and use it only as reasonably necessary for the Services you request and with consent where required.
We may receive information directly from you; from a parent, family member, friend, reference, or authorized representative; from potential matches, matchmakers, community partners, and our trusted network; from public records or sources; and automatically through website technologies. If someone contacts us on your behalf, we generally will not activate an adult matchmaking profile without that person’s knowledge and participation.
2. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- Create, review, verify, administer, and secure accounts, applications, memberships, subscriptions, appointments, events, and gifts;
- Develop and refine profiles, assess potential compatibility, search our own database and trusted network, and facilitate curated introductions;
- Provide Intentional Life Guidance, relationship and life coaching, image consulting, Signature-package benefits, consultations, and other requested Services;
- Process payments, maintain transaction records, administer recurring billing and non-renewal requests, and prevent payment fraud;
- Communicate about applications, matches, appointments, events, purchases, renewals, policy changes, safety matters, and customer support;
- Operate, personalize, evaluate, protect, and improve Pious Hearts and train or support our team;
- Investigate suspected fraud, harassment, abuse, misrepresentation, or other misconduct and enforce our Terms and Conditions;
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, safety, and recordkeeping obligations; and
- Send Pious Hearts news, event announcements, educational content, promotions, or surveys as permitted by law.
3. Private Profiles and Matchmaking Network
Pious Hearts maintains its own private database of clients and prospective matches. Profiles are not publicly searchable and are not available for general member browsing. Access within Pious Hearts is limited to personnel and contractors who reasonably need the information to perform their responsibilities.
To provide matchmaking, we may share selected profile details, photographs, preferences, and compatibility information with prospective matches and trusted members of our matchmaking network. This network may include other professional matchmakers and Muslim matchmaking services, mosques and masjids, Muslim organizations and communities, selected private social-media or community groups, referral sources, community contacts, and individuals we reasonably believe may be a suitable connection or may know a suitable prospective match.
We use professional judgment and reasonable efforts to share information selectively and discreetly. Direct contact information is generally withheld until we consider it appropriate for an introduction. We will not intentionally post an identifiable profile publicly for general advertising or promotional purposes without separate express permission.
Matchmaking necessarily involves sharing information with people outside our direct control. Although recipients are expected to maintain confidentiality, Pious Hearts cannot guarantee that a recipient will not save, copy, screenshot, forward, repost, or misuse information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pious Hearts is not responsible for an independent third party’s unauthorized conduct after information has been shared in good faith for a legitimate matchmaking purpose. Please notify us promptly if you suspect misuse.
Anyone receiving another person’s profile or information through Pious Hearts must use it only to consider the intended introduction and must not publish, forward, sell, or use it for another purpose.
4. When We Share Other Information
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers supporting payments, website hosting, data storage, cybersecurity, scheduling, communications, video calls, analytics, screening, accounting, customer service, and other business operations;
- Pious Hearts employees, matchmakers, coaches, consultants, event personnel, administrators, and contractors who need access to provide the Services;
- Event, community, mosque, professional, and referral partners when reasonably necessary to organize an event, identify a prospective match, or provide a jointly supported Service;
- Lawyers, accountants, insurers, auditors, and other professional advisers;
- Courts, regulators, law enforcement, emergency services, or other parties when required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or harm, enforce our agreements, or protect rights, property, or safety;
- A prospective or actual buyer, investor, lender, or successor in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business; and
- Other recipients when you request, authorize, or consent to the disclosure.
We expect service providers and contractors to use personal information only for authorized purposes and to protect it appropriately. Pious Hearts does not sell or rent member profiles or personal information for money, and we do not provide member profiles to marketing companies for their independent use.
We may use or share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual for analytics, service improvement, research, or business purposes.
5. Payments, Cookies, and Third-Party Services
Payments are handled by outside payment processors. Pious Hearts does not generally store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes, although our processor may retain payment information to complete transactions and administer recurring billing. The processor’s privacy practices also apply.
We and our providers may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website and sign-in functions working, remember preferences, understand website performance, detect fraud or errors, and improve our Services and communications. You may block or delete cookies through your browser, although doing so may affect website functionality. Because there is no consistent industry standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, our website may not respond to them; we will honor legally recognized privacy preference signals when required.
Our website and communications may link to payment providers, video platforms, social-media services, or other third parties that we do not control. Their own privacy policies govern their independent practices, and Pious Hearts is not responsible for those practices.
6. Communications and Marketing Choices
We may contact you by email, telephone, text message, account notification, or another channel about your account, requested Services, matches, appointments, events, purchases, billing, renewals, safety, or policy changes.
We may also send promotional messages about Pious Hearts news, events, educational content, and offers when permitted. You may unsubscribe through the link in an email or follow the opt-out instructions in a text. Opting out of marketing does not prevent communications needed to administer an account, transaction, membership, or requested Service.
7. Retention and Security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain matchmaking and communication history, complete transactions, satisfy legal and recordkeeping requirements, resolve disputes, address safety concerns, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims. Retention varies based on the information, its sensitivity, the Service, account status, and applicable law. Closing an account or ending a membership does not necessarily require immediate deletion of every record. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, secure hosting, encryption in transit where appropriate, monitoring, and staff confidentiality expectations. However, no website, transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, altered, disclosed, or lost.
You are responsible for using a strong and unique password, protecting your login information, maintaining current device security, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized activity. Do not share your password or account.
8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; withdraw consent where processing depends on consent; close your account; or remove your profile from active matchmaking. You may also have additional rights under applicable United States federal or state law or Canadian federal or provincial law.
To submit a request, email info@pioushearts.com with the subject line Privacy Request. Please include the email address associated with your account and describe your request. We may verify your identity and authority before responding. We may deny or limit a request when permitted by law, including when information is needed for security, fraud prevention, transactions, contractual obligations, recordkeeping, legal compliance, or legal claims.
Canadian residents may also contact the appropriate federal or provincial privacy regulator if they are not satisfied with our response. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to continue providing a Service that requires the information.
9. United States and Canada; Cross-Border Processing
Pious Hearts serves individuals in the United States and Canada. We and our service providers may process or store information in either country or in another country where a provider operates. Privacy and government-access laws in those locations may differ from those where you live. Pious Hearts remains responsible for handling information as required by applicable law and uses reasonable contractual or other protections for service-provider processing where required.
10. Adults Only
Pious Hearts matchmaking Services are intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly create matchmaking accounts for or collect matchmaking information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has provided such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it and close the associated account. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information should contact us promptly.
11. Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may preserve, use, or disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, warrant, or other valid legal process; respond to lawful government requests; investigate fraud or illegal activity; prevent or address imminent harm; protect Pious Hearts, our members, or others; enforce our agreements; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where legally permitted and appropriate, we may notify you before producing information in response to legal process. We cannot promise advance notice when prohibited by law or when notice could create a risk of harm, fraud, or obstruction.
12. Changes to This Policy and Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy when our Services, technology, practices, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised Policy and update the effective date. When a change is material, we may provide additional notice or request consent when required by law.
